About the Role
Hybrid Arks is looking for a Video Editor Intern who understands that great editing is more than cutting clips together—it’s about storytelling, pacing, emotion, and attention.
You’ll work alongside our creative, content, and marketing teams on short-form and long-form video projects for brands and digital platforms.
What You’ll Work On
- Editing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and campaign content
- Creating engaging cuts, transitions, text animations, and visual sequences
- Selecting music, sound effects, and supporting visuals
- Repurposing long-form footage into short-form content
- Assisting with video concepts and storytelling
- Organizing and managing video assets
- Collaborating with cinematographers, content writers, designers, and marketers
What We’re Looking For
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing
- Strong sense of timing, storytelling, composition, and visual flow
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools
- Willingness to experiment and learn
- Good understanding of current digital video trends
- Students or graduates from Visual Communication, Film, Mass Communication, Media, Fine Arts, or related backgrounds are welcome
- Strongly passionate self-taught editors are also encouraged to apply
Bonus: Motion graphics, color grading, sound design, VFX, or social media editing experience.
