Job Profile:
To ensure the safety and security of the showroom, customers, employees, visitors, high-value furniture, merchandise, equipment, and company property. The Security Officer will maintain a professional and welcoming presence while preventing theft, unauthorized access, damage, and other security or safety incidents.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and control entry and exit of customers, employees, vendors, contractors, and other visitors.
· Maintain a professional, well-groomed, and courteous presence at the showroom entrance.
· Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the showroom, stock areas, loading/unloading areas, parking area, and other designated locations.
· Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems and immediately report suspicious activity or security concerns.
· Protect high-value furniture, accessories, display items, equipment, cash, and other company assets.
· Monitor movement of furniture and other materials entering or leaving the showroom and verify appropriate documentation/authorization.
· Ensure no company property or merchandise leaves the premises without proper approval.
· Maintain visitor, vehicle, material movement, and security registers as required.
· Monitor showroom activities for potential theft, fraud, unauthorized access, damage, or suspicious behavior.
· Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, accidents, and fire-related situations.
· Assist in emergency evacuation and ensure emergency exits and access routes remain clear.
· Report incidents, unusual activities, damages, losses, and safety hazards immediately to the Showroom Manager/Security Supervisor.
· Prepare accurate daily occurrence reports and incident reports.
· Coordinate with showroom management, housekeeping, maintenance, delivery teams, and authorized security agencies when required.
· Support security during VIP visits, showroom events, product launches, and high-footfall periods.
· Maintain confidentiality regarding customers, company operations, inventory, security procedures, and incidents.
· Follow all showroom SOPs, security procedures, fire and safety requirements, and management instructions.
· Cooperate with police, fire services, medical personnel, or other emergency services when required.
· Perform any other security-related duties assigned by management.
Customer Service & Grooming Standards
As the security officer is often one of the first points of contact for luxury customers, the candidate must:
· Be polite, respectful, and service-oriented.
· Maintain excellent personal grooming and professional appearance.
· Communicate confidently with customers without being intrusive.
· Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
· Protect the luxury image and reputation of the showroom.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 10th/12th standard qualification; higher education preferred.
· Previous experience as a Security Officer/Security Guard in luxury retail, furniture, premium retail, hospitality, hotel, commercial, or corporate environments preferred.
· Good observation and situational-awareness skills.
· Basic knowledge of CCTV and access-control systems.
· Good verbal communication skills in Hindi and basic English.
· Ability to maintain registers and write basic incident reports.
· Physically fit and able to stand/patrol for extended periods.
· Honest, disciplined, punctual, alert, and reliable.
· Ability to remain calm during emergencies or challenging situations.
· Police/background verification as per company policy.
· Valid security training/license as applicable under local regulations.

· Proper control of incoming/outgoing materials.
· Regular and effective CCTV/patrol monitoring.

· Compliance with all showroom security SOPs.
Working Conditions
· Full-time, on-site position.
· Weekend and holiday duties may be required depending on showroom operations.
· Standing and regular patrolling may be required.
· The role requires continuous alertness and professional conduct.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
