Position: Senior Mobile App Developer

Experience: 5+ Years

Reports To: Tech Lead / Engineering Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile application development, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience building, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications.

The candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, payment gateways, notifications, and other backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
Identify and resolve performance, usability, and application-related issues.
Conduct code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of mobile applications.
Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless API and data integration.
Participate in application architecture and technical decision-making.
Manage application releases and deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Monitor application performance and address production issues.
Stay updated with the latest mobile development technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
Strong experience in one or more mobile technologies such as:
Flutter / Dart
React Native / JavaScript / TypeScript
Android / Kotlin / Java
iOS / Swift
Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and development life cycle.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Firebase, push notifications, and third-party SDK integration.
Good understanding of Git and version control systems.
Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and crash/error monitoring.
Strong knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
Experience with application deployment and release management.
Understanding of security best practices for mobile applications.
Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience working with both Android and iOS platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes.
Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Firebase, or Azure.
Experience with payment gateway integration.
Experience with location services, maps, GPS, camera, Bluetooth, or other device capabilities.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
Experience mentoring or leading junior developers.
