Full job description

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Internship
Experience: Fresher
Duration: 3–6 Months

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated WordPress developer intern who is interested in building modern, responsive, and user-friendly websites. This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real-world WordPress projects under the guidance of experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
Create and customize WordPress pages using themes and page builders.
Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
Build responsive websites that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Assist with website updates, content changes, and bug fixing.
Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins.
Perform basic website optimization for speed, performance, and SEO.
Assist with troubleshooting WordPress-related technical issues.
Follow website development best practices and coding standards.
Work closely with designers, developers, and digital marketing teams.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, andbasic knowledge of JavaScript.
Should have vast knowledge in the latest AI and PHP and UI/UX.
Familiarity with PHP is an advantage.
Basic understanding of responsive web design.
Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.

Good to Have:

Experience with Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
Basic knowledge of MySQL.
Understanding of WordPress SEO and website performance.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
Knowledge of WooCommerce.
Basic understanding of domain, hosting, DNS, and cPanel.
