Full job description

Vidya Champs is looking for a dynamic, target-oriented and confident Marketing & Sales Executive who can contribute to the growth of the institute by developing new leads, building strong relationships with schools and students, promoting Vidyachamp's academic programs, and converting prospective students into admissions.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with field marketing, school visits, student/parent interaction, counselling, lead generation and admission conversion.

Key Responsibilities

1. School & Institutional Marketing

Visit schools, educational institutions and relevant educational communities to develop professional relationships.
Coordinate with Principals, Directors, Coordinators, Teachers and School Management for seminars, career guidance sessions, Olympiads, academic activities and student engagement programs.
Identify opportunities for school tie-ups and institutional collaborations.
Build and maintain a database of schools, teachers, students and prospective leads.
Regularly follow up with school contacts and develop long-term relationships.

2. Lead Generation

Generate new student enquiries through:
School visits
Seminars and workshops
Career guidance programs
Olympiads and academic competitions
Referral activities
Local marketing campaigns
Community outreach
Other approved marketing activities
Identify prospective students for JEE, NEET, Foundation and other Vidyachamp programs.
Maintain an updated record of leads and their status.

3. Student & Parent Interaction

Communicate professionally with students and parents.
Understand student requirements, academic background and career aspirations.
Explain Vidyachamp's courses, academic methodology, faculty, study plans, tests and other relevant facilities accurately.
Handle enquiries and objections professionally.
Conduct appropriate follow-ups until the enquiry reaches a clear outcome.

4. Admission & Sales

Convert qualified leads into admissions through systematic counselling and follow-up.
Maintain a healthy conversion ratio from enquiry → counselling → admission.
Follow up with prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp and personal meetings.
Coordinate with the counselling and academic teams to ensure a smooth admission process.

5. Marketing Activities

Participate actively in Vidya Champ's promotional campaigns and student engagement activities.
Assist in planning and executing:
School seminars
Career guidance sessions
Olympiads
Scholarship/assessment tests
Parent meetings
Workshops
Educational events
Collect genuine student/parent feedback and market insights.
Monitor competitor activities and provide useful information to management.

6. Reporting

Maintain accurate records of all leads, follow-ups, school visits and admissions.
Update the institute's Google Sheet regularly.
Submit daily/weekly activity reports to the reporting manager.
Track every lead until conversion, rejection or closure.
Maintain proper records of school contacts and future opportunities.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

Comfortable speaking with students, parents, teachers and school management

Comfortable using WhatsApp, Google Sheets, MS Office and basic CRM tools
Able to prepare basic reports and maintain accurate data

Minimum Qualification & ExperienceEducation

Graduate in any discipline.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Sales, Business Development or related field will be an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
Experience in education, coaching institutes, EdTech, school marketing, field sales, counselling or business development will be preferred.

Performance will be evaluated on measurable outcomes such as:

Number of qualified leads generated
School visits and productive school meetings
Seminars/events successfully arranged
Student/parent enquiries generated
Counselling appointments
Lead follow-up efficiency
Enquiry-to-admission conversion
Monthly admission target achievement
Revenue generated
Quality and accuracy of reporting
New school/institutional relationships developed
Retention and quality of professional relationships
