Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant cum Dispatch Executive to support our day-to-day accounting activities and manage dispatch-related documentation and coordination.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining basic accounting records, preparing invoices and documents, coordinating with customers, transporters and courier agencies, and ensuring that all dispatches are completed accurately and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
- Prepare and verify sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts and payment vouchers.
- Maintain customer and supplier accounts.
- Update Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable records.
- Prepare outstanding statements and follow up for payment details when required.
- Assist in bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Verify bills, invoices and supporting documents before processing.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
- Assist the senior accounts team during monthly closing and audit activities.
- Support GST/TDS-related documentation and other statutory requirements under the guidance of the Accounts Manager.
Dispatch Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatches with the Store,Sales, Production and Accounts teams.
- Coordinate with transporters, courier companies and logistics service providers.
- Arrange pickup and dispatch of finished goods to customers/dealers.
- Verify product quantity, packing details and shipping documents before dispatch.
- Enter and maintain dispatch details in ERP/Excel.
- Track shipments and update delivery status.
- Share dispatch details, tracking numbers and required documents with customers.
- Follow up with transporters for delayed or pending deliveries.
- Maintain proper records of returned, damaged or undelivered shipments.
- Coordinate with the Stores team for material handover and dispatch confirmation.
- Ensure dispatch documents are properly filed and available for future reference.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Email.
- Basic to good knowledge of Tally/ERP accounting software.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of invoices, receipts, payments and ledger maintenance.
- Good documentation and data-entry skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, vendors, transporters and internal departments.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet daily deadlines.
Educational Qualification
B.Com / M.Com / BBA / Any relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Dispatch, Logistics or a similar role.
Candidates with Tally/ERP and Excel knowledge will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Should be responsible and punctual.
- Should have good follow-up skills.
- Should be willing to handle both Accounts and Dispatch activities.
- Should be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize urgent dispatches.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial company will be an added advantage.
- Candidates residing in or around Coimbatore will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
