Job Description : Business Development Associate – Real Estate

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Associate to support business growth and property sales through lead generation, client acquisition, market research, and relationship management.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers and business opportunities, developing relationships with clients and channel partners, arranging property meetings and site visits, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Business Development

Identify and generate new business opportunities through calls, referrals, networking, online platforms, and other channels.
Research potential buyers, investors, channel partners, brokers, and corporate clients.
Qualify leads based on customer requirements, budget, location, and investment objectives.
Maintain and continuously develop a healthy sales/business pipeline.
Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Contact prospective customers and understand their property requirements.
Present suitable residential, commercial, or investment opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Conduct regular follow-ups through calls, meetings, WhatsApp, email, and other approved channels.
Maintain a professional relationship with customers throughout the sales process.
Generate referrals and repeat business opportunities.

3. Property Sales Support

Coordinate and schedule property presentations and site visits.
Explain project details, location, amenities, pricing, payment plans, and available inventory.
Assist Sales Managers and Senior Sales Executives in negotiations and closing activities.
Follow up with prospects after site visits and presentations.
Assist with booking documentation and coordinate with relevant internal teams.

4. Channel Partner & Broker Development

Identify and develop relationships with local property brokers and channel partners.
Support channel partner onboarding and regular communication.
Share project information, inventory updates, pricing, and promotional schemes with approved partners.
Track leads and business generated through channel partners.
Explore opportunities to expand the company's broker/channel partner network.

5. Market & Competitor Research

Monitor real estate market trends, property prices, demand, and customer preferences.
Track competitor projects, pricing, offers, locations, amenities, and sales strategies.
Gather customer and market feedback and share insights with management.
Identify new locations, customer segments, and potential business opportunities.

6. CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, meetings, site visits, follow-ups, and opportunities.
Update CRM systems regularly and ensure data accuracy.
Prepare daily and weekly business development reports.
Track lead conversion, site visits, bookings, and sales pipeline.
Provide regular updates to the Business Development/Sales Manager.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in real estate, sales, business development, banking, insurance, retail, or a similar target-driven environment.
Freshers with strong communication and interpersonal skills may also be considered.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Strong follow-up and persuasion abilities.
Comfortable making outbound calls and meeting prospective customers.
Knowledge of the local real estate market is an advantage.
Basic proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
