Full job description

We are a world-class engineering team that encompasses front end (UI), back end (API / Java), and Big Data engineering to deliver compelling products.

As a Node.js developer, you will be responsible for the development of AMT (Advertising & Marketing Technology) servers, integrations with various exchanges, performance tuning, and adding new features as per business requirements.

Objectives:

Design and maintain scalable, efficient APIs and integrate third-party services into Node.js applications.

Build robust, high-performance, and resilient back-end systems to support various product requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and estimate development efforts effectively.

Write an efficient, transparent and well-documented code that meets industry regulations and standards.

Building and maintaining the back-end components of web applications.

Ensure proper adherence to privacy and security standards.

Stay updated with the emerging technologies and trends in Node.js development.

Develop integrations with Google Analytics and other third-party services as needed.

Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Exceptional performance on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank can be considered in place of formal education.

Minimum 2 years 5- 10 years added value of experience developing and maintaining high-performance backend systems using Node.js, with expertise in frameworks like NestJS or Express.js.

Strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with strong programming skills.

Deep understanding of RESTful services and web/networking protocols.

Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, along with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

Proficient understanding of Git (code versioning tool)

Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles.

Excellent problem-solving and management skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications

Experience with display, mobile, and video advertising platforms.

Familiarity with customer data systems, marketing platforms, and advertising technology (AdTech) ecosystems.
