We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our team in Gurgaon, Haryāna (IN-HR), India (IN).
Job Title: Software Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in C#, T-SQL, NUnit, and Reqnroll, with the ability to build high-quality, reliable, and testable software solutions. This role requires solid backend development experience, strong database knowledge, and a quality-first mindset with a focus on automation and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#
- Write, optimize, and support complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database scripts
- Create and execute unit tests using NUnit
- Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using Reqnroll
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Participate in full software development lifecycle activities including design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment
- Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Troubleshoot application and database-related issues and provide timely resolutions
- Contribute to test automation strategy and ensure adequate test coverage
- Perform code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience in C#
- Strong experience in T-SQL
- Proven experience with NUnit for unit testing
- Hands-on experience with Reqnroll for test automation / BDD
- Good understanding of software design principles and coding best practices
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with relational databases and database design concepts
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with .NET-based enterprise application development
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
- Knowledge of behavior-driven development and test-driven development practices
- Experience with source control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps
- Exposure to API testing and integration testing practices
