Summary:
UST is looking for Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer & UI/UX Designer
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a versatile, highly skilled professional with 6+ years of experience to bridge the gap between advanced artificial intelligence and world-class user experience. You will take complete ownership of the product lifecycle, from researching and training AI/ML models to designing high-fidelity interfaces in Figma and writing production-ready frontend and backend code.
Core Responsibilities
- UI/UX Design: Architect user flows, wireframes, and design components. Build responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect design systems directly within Figma.
- AI/ML Engineering: Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models. Implement Generative AI architectures, Large Language Models (LLMs), and predictive pipelines.
- Full-Stack Development: Translate your Figma prototypes into live code. Build robust frontends (React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js) and integrate them seamlessly with AI-powered backends (Python, FastAPI, Node.js).
- System Integration: Optimize ML model inference times for seamless real-time UI/UX interactions. Manage data pipelines and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma). Proiciency in AWS services and cloud-native application development.

Big Data & AI/ML Expertise: Expertise in constructing big data platforms, using Python, PySpark, and leveraging AI and ML capabilities to drive product innovation and operational efficiency.
Proficient in using AWS/Cloud for deploying data and AI services, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Familiarity with Generative AI / LLMs, agentic AI patterns, prompt engineering, and model governance.
Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and applying them safely in SDLC.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Great organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to apply safety standards and adhere to industry regulations.
Preferred AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
What you need:
Required Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering and design experience.
- Design Tools: Advanced mastery of Figma (auto-layout, advanced prototyping, component libraries, and design tokens).
- AI/ML Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face. Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic).
- Frontend/Backend Stack: Strong foundation in TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, CSS frameworks (TailwindCSS), and backend API development.
Desired Skills:
- Portfolio demonstrating both live, data-driven AI applications and their original Figma design files.
- Proven track record of deploying scalable machine learning models into production cloud environments (AWS).
