Full job description

Job Summary

Hotel Prayana is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Trainee to support the sales and marketing activities of the hotel, restaurant, banquet facilities and other revenue-generating outlets. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in hospitality sales, customer relationship management, digital marketing and business development while contributing to the hotel's revenue growth objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support

Assist in identifying and approaching potential corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, educational institutions, and local businesses.
Support the sales team in generating room bookings, restaurant business, banquet bookings and group reservations.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare sales presentations, proposals and promotional materials.
Maintain customer databases and sales records.
Follow up with prospective and existing clients regarding inquiries and bookings.

Marketing Support

Support the planning and execution of hotel events, food festivals and special promotions.
Monitor online reviews and assist in maintaining the hotel's online reputation.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and business partners.
Assist in conducting client visits and hotel property tours.
Gather customer feedback and prepare reports for management.
Support loyalty programs and guest engagement initiatives.

Administrative Duties

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Maintain records of sales calls, meetings and client interactions.
Assist in preparing marketing budgets and campaign performance reports.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
Freshers may apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is preferred.
Good presentation and negotiation skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
