Full job description

LHA Hotels is looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a housekeeping team in a professional hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained.
Assign daily duties and monitor staff performance.
Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared according to hotel standards.
Maintain housekeeping supplies, linens, and cleaning equipment.
Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the Engineering department for timely resolution.
Train, motivate, and guide housekeeping staff on hotel procedures and service standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and daily reports.
Coordinate with the Front Office regarding room status, arrivals, departures, and special requests.

Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of housekeeping experience in the hotel industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning chemicals, and safety standards.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel PMS is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality is preferred.
Experience working in a star-category hotel is an added advantage.
