The Publishing Art Director must bring consistently high artistic standards to both his/her work and that of the design team, defining the artistic vision whilst delivering compelling real-time experiences. Every day, you’ll work closely with other engineers on the team, with our design team, and with other technical teams to define and build these features.
The seamless integration of software and hardware has led to features like Memories and Portrait Mode which deliver experiences that are magical. The design team focuses on user-experience by leveraging computer vision and image processing through machine learning.
Demonstrate and communicate clear expectations for quality of work, productivity, communication and professionalism to the Art team and our development partners. Work closely with Animation teams, Design team, our Developers and UI/UX teams to define and manage key expectations. Long term relationship with internal teams and external partners, consistently raising the quality bar for the products delivered to globe.
Participate in coordinating the aesthetic targets and technical processes in order to realize the visual and design goals. Create visual aspects of the product at the concept stage Create 3D assets using software such as CorelDraw / Photoshop at production stage Animate 3D models and produce visual effects at production stage Understand how rendering works in game engines and be able to tweak it Share knowledge with colleagues and support high-quality standards Work closely with user experience experts and engineers to build products that our customers love
Able to provide editing and packaging expertise to create video and audio productions and programming for inclusion in presentations, websites and social media platforms, and for dissemination via existing and future digital delivery platforms. Develop, implement and maintain a digital media library, using digital media storage, archiving, and search and retrieval tools.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Solid prior experience in 3D asset creation pipeline and real-time animation/rendering Experience in end-to-end 3D asset management in games Strong unit, functional and automated testing experience Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in develop graphics, video production, animation, presentations with wide variety of applications in Social Media and E-Commerce industry. Strong character animation skills, including an intuitive grasp of spatial and temporal relationships as they pertain to animal/human motion and expression, along with a strong sense of theatrical presentation skills will be an added advantage.
