Infor are seeking a strategic and technically strong Director of Software Development to lead the design, development, and delivery of Agentic Innovation solutions for customers. This role will drive innovation, ensure engineering excellence, and enable agile product delivery across distributed teams. Manage development budgets, resource allocation, and strategic vendor partnerships.
- Stay ahead of technology trends and evaluate their applicability to Infor’s platforms and products
- Define and own the Agentic AI strategy for FDE (offshore delivery) inline with Velocity Suite vision, aligning investments to business goals, customer needs, and product strategy.
- Lead a team (approx.. 15+ resources) who are highly motivated to prioritize, design and deliver of GenAI-enabled features, copilots, agents, automation, and conversational intelligence capabilities across the suite, to global customers.
- Partner with product, engineering, architecture, design, and data teams to translate high-value use cases into scalable, production-ready GenAI solutions.
- Establish portfolio governance for GenAI initiatives, including prioritization, funding, success metrics, delivery oversight, and value realization.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across AI engineering, prompt and evaluation disciplines, product management, and program delivery, with strong coaching and talent development.
- Drive platform decisions related to model selection, orchestration, prompting, retrieval, evaluation, observability, security, compliance, and cost management and work in close collaboration with Dev/Product organization.
- Create clear operating rhythms with stakeholders across sales, customer success, support, legal, security, and finance to ensure adoption and business readiness.
- Represent the Gen AI and Velocity Suite vision to executive leadership, customers, and partners through roadmap reviews, business cases, demos, and strategic updates.
- Ensure responsible AI practices, including governance, privacy, security, transparency, and lifecycle controls for enterprise-grade GenAI deployments.
- Monitor portfolio performance using customer impact, adoption, reliability, speed, quality, and financial metrics, and continuously refine execution based on outcomes.

Experience in software development, in a leadership role.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and leading distributed development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology and engineering, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 18+ years of experience in Software, AI, Data and Product leadership roles, with several years leading cross-functional teams at scale.
- Hands-on industry experience related to ERP (Infor (preferable)/Third party) implementations, especially in functional/business side…leading customer conversation is highly recommended considering this role being customer facing with focus on high value usecases, deployments, escalations etc..
- Proven experience defining and delivering generative AI capabilities in enterprise software products. Good understanding of large language models, agentic systems, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation methods, and modern software architecture.
- Track record of discussing roadmaps, usecase prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and execution management.
- Experience in exploring, building business cases and tying GenAI investments to measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, customer adoption, productivity, or cost reduction.
- Knowledge of AI governance, privacy, security, model risk, and responsible AI practices in enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and executive influence skills, with the ability to translate technical strategy into business value.
- Strong people leadership capabilities and an ability to build teams, ground up… with focus on hiring, mentoring, performance management, and organizational design.
