The AI Adoption Hub is Infor's tool for sales teams to co-create industry AI adoption plans with customers, live in the meeting. You'll own the production posture of this live AWS serverless product end to end — infrastructure as code, monitoring, on-call, security, and cost — keeping it healthy and reliable as it grows. This is a run-and-operate role on a small, AI-first team, not a deploy-only one.
-
Own the environment as infrastructure as code: provision and manage all environments repeatably under version control and peer review — networking, serverless compute, managed databases, object storage, and least-privilege IAM.
- Keep production healthy as the day-2 operator: own monitoring and alerting, define the alarms and dashboards worth paging on (and which to suppress as noise), and run the telemetry pipeline that feeds analytics and observability.
- Own and harden the security boundary, including edge and single-sign-on authentication against a major identity provider, and keep IAM and network access scoped to least privilege.
- Own and evolve the CI/CD pipeline — environment promotion, manual production gates, and safe rollback — so changes ship to production reliably and can be backed out cleanly.
- Lead production incident response end-to-end: drive incidents, maintain runbooks and the on-call rotation, run blameless post-mortems, and stay on top of patching, dependency upkeep, and security maintenance.
- Own cost, capacity, and performance: track spend and headroom, partner with product engineers on reliability and security reviews, and explain reliability, cost, and security tradeoffs in plain language to non-engineers across product and the field.
-
4+ years RUNNING production cloud systems day-to-day on AWS — owning live services in operation, not just provisioning them or doing one-time deploys. This is the primary bar: you operate, maintain, and observe systems in production, not just get them working on a laptop.
- Infrastructure as Code as your primary tool — Terraform leading; CloudFormation, SAM, or similar equally fine — to provision and manage environments repeatably, under version control and peer review.
- Hands-on day-2 operations: monitoring and alerting, on-call / incident response, runbooks and post-mortems, patching and dependency / security upkeep, plus ongoing cost and capacity management. You've owned the health of a production system, not just its rollout.
- Solid AWS breadth across the common building blocks — serverless compute, API / gateway, managed databases, object storage and CDN, IAM and VPC networking — with least-privilege security as a default habit. (We don't gate on our exact services; transferable AWS depth is what we screen for.)
- CI/CD ownership: pipelines with environment promotion, manual production gates, and safe rollback, on any major tool (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar). No specific scripting language required — comfort automating in whatever language fits the job is expected.
- Has built and launched real products from start to finish. They can clearly describe what they built, who used it, and what they personally did.
- Uses AI coding tools every day to work faster, and can explain how they use them.
- Learns new things quickly. They can give an example of a tool or skill they picked up recently and used well.
- Works well on their own. They can take an unclear problem and move it forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Explains technical things clearly to non-technical people — here, engineers work directly with the product team and the sales field.
- Is reliable: follows through without being reminded, raises problems early, and takes responsibility for the result, not just the task.
-
SRE / reliability practice: defining and tracking SLOs / SLIs and error budgets.
- Edge / SSO authentication operations with a major identity provider — SAML / OIDC (e.g. Okta, Azure AD / Entra, Cloudflare Access, or similar).
- Streaming / telemetry data pipelines (managed cloud streaming services or Kafka) feeding analytics or observability.
- Third-party observability tooling (Datadog, New Relic, Honeycomb, or similar) alongside cloud-native monitoring.
- Security and compliance experience: SOC 2 / security reviews, threat modeling, IAM audits.
- Container / orchestration experience (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes) for workloads that aren't fully serverless.
- Experience operating LLM-backed / AI features in production (their cost, latency, and reliability characteristics) — a genuine plus, but not expected; we'll bring you up to speed on the AI side.
