Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Flutter Developer role based in Kolkata. The Flutter Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and reliability. Daily tasks include collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code, integrating back-end services and APIs, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications, implementing best practices in mobile development, and keeping projects aligned with timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in Flutter, Dart, and cross-platform mobile application development.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, database integration, and server-side logic.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their practical application in modern frameworks.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Familiarity with mobile UI/UX guidelines, performance optimization, and debugging tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and manage tasks independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Job Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart for Android and iOS platforms.
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing mobile applications.
Build reusable and scalable Flutter components and maintain clean, well-structured code.
Integrate REST APIs, third-party APIs, payment gateways, Firebase, push notifications, maps, and other external services.
Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data communication between mobile applications and servers.
Implement application features such as authentication, user profiles, notifications, real-time updates, and payment processing.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application crashes, performance issues, and technical problems.
Perform application testing, including functional, UI, integration, and performance testing.
Optimize applications for performance, stability, security, and compatibility across different devices and screen sizes.
Manage application state using appropriate state-management solutions such as Provider, GetX, Riverpod, Bloc, or similar frameworks.
Work with databases and cloud services such as Firebase, MySQL, MongoDB, or other backend systems as required.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development standards and best practices.
Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for source-code management and collaborative development.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver projects on time.
Assist in publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Monitor and maintain existing applications and implement updates, enhancements, and new features.
Stay updated with the latest Flutter, Dart, mobile development, and cross-platform development technologies.
Prepare basic technical documentation and maintain proper project records.
Follow project timelines, development standards, and company coding guidelines.
