Full job description

Dispensing & Assembly: Accurately assemble, label, and dispense medication prescriptions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and legal requirements.
Stock Management: Maintain inventory by checking stock levels, ordering new supplies, and performing regular date checks to remove expired products.
Patient Interaction: Receive prescriptions, handle inquiries (in-person or by phone), and provide guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines.
Administrative Tasks: Utilize computer systems to maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and handle electronic or cash payments.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with Good Dispensing Practices (GDP) and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the pharmacy. Trac +7

Common Tasks Breakdown

Preparation: Selecting the correct medication, counting tablets, and producing accurate labels.
Workflow Support: Liaising between patients and the pharmacist to ensure smooth operation.
Deliveries: Handling incoming stock deliveries and organizing the dispensary area.
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times.
