About the Role:The team:
This role will be part of a newly formed team within Corporate Technology whose role is to support Finance and HR. They will be responsible for all of the technology services that are provided internally and by vendors.
Responsibilities and impact:
The Dayforce Administrator and Technical Lead will manage OSTTRA’s HCM platform, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle, configuration, and maintenance of the Dayforce system in Gurugram. This leadership role requires deep technical expertise to drive automation, secure system architecture, and manage complex integrations while executing strategic technical roadmaps.
- Platform Operations: Lead the end-to-end operational lifecycle, including advanced configuration, maintenance, and support to ensure optimal Dayforce platform performance.
- Release & Change Management: Manage the deployment of system updates, patches, and feature releases in strict compliance with internal Change Advisory Board (CAB) protocols.
- Environment Stability: Maintain the health and data privacy of non-production environments (staging and testing) to ensure zero disruption to live business and payroll operations.
- Integration Oversight: Monitor and optimize technical connectors, background jobs, and APIs to ensure seamless, error-free data flows between Dayforce, SAP ERP, and other corporate tools.
- Security & Audit Readiness: Implement technical configurations for automated controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and user profile validation to ensure readiness for security audits.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Act as the primary gatekeeper for database health, ensuring the platform complies with global privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR) and internal financial regulations.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with external vendors and cross-functional technology and business teams to manage project delivery and translate technical roadmaps into stable solutions.
What we’re looking for:
- Platform Mastery: Demonstrable expertise in managing the Dayforce HCM ecosystem, specifically across Core HR, Payroll, and Learning modules.
- Security Architecture: Advanced capability in configuring robust security architectures, including automated controls, role permissions, and session isolation parameters to ensure strict compliance.
- Technical Integration: Strong understanding of enterprise technology architecture, including data schemas, middleware, and integration methods required for seamless system connectivity.
- Vendor Management: Proven ability to manage professional services and SaaS vendor relationships, holding external partners strictly accountable to established technical SLAs.
- Operational Execution: A consistent track record of translating technology strategies into stable, compliant operational plans while maintaining full ownership of platform performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical development teams and corporate stakeholders (Finance, HR) by clearly articulating complex technical issues and progress.
What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months)
- Platform Stabilization (6 Months): Achieve and maintain a high user satisfaction score regarding the stability, security, and profile isolation configurations of the Dayforce platform post-separation.
- System Optimization & Efficiency (12 Months): Partner with HR to deliver technical automation projects that measurably optimize core business processes, reducing manual data intervention and increasing operational velocity.
- Operational Excellence (Ongoing): Deliver all ongoing platform changes, security updates, and routine maintenance with a low disruption rate to critical financial close and payroll processing operations.
