Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance AkzoNobel's cloud and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and monitoring solutions across Azure-based platforms. The role requires strong collaboration with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure application deployments
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD & DevOps Automation
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Implement DevSecOps practices including code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls.
Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release governance.
Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management
Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
Support cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services.
Manage Azure Landing Zones, Hub-and-Spoke networking architecture, and security controls.
Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high availability.
Containerization & Kubernetes
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Configure ingress controllers, certificates, monitoring, and security policies.
Troubleshoot container orchestration and deployment issues.
Monitoring & Operations
Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and dashboards.
Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution for production issues.
Automate operational activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Security & Governance
Implement Azure security best practices including RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
Support compliance, audit, and governance initiatives.
Work closely with cybersecurity teams to implement secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Azure certifications preferred:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred)
