Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Project Coordinator to join our team and oversee the coordination and execution of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of civil engineering and construction practices, and proven experience working on major projects.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between project teams, contractors, consultants, vendors, and management while ensuring projects are executed efficiently, within timelines, and according to required quality and technical standards.

The role will also involve lead generation and business development activities, identifying potential clients and project opportunities, and supporting the company in expanding its project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor day-to-day activities across civil construction projects.
Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, site engineers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
Review technical drawings, plans, BOQs, estimates, and project documentation.
Identify project issues, delays, technical concerns, and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
Conduct regular site visits and monitor construction progress and quality.
Maintain project reports, progress updates, documentation, and MIS.
Coordinate procurement, material requirements, vendors, and contractors wherever required.
Assist in planning manpower, materials, resources, and project schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
Coordinate with management and provide regular updates on project status.
Support estimation, costing, tendering, quotations, and other pre-construction activities.
Generate and follow up on leads for potential construction, renovation, development, and related projects.
Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, references, and client outreach.
Maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Support the business development team in converting leads into projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
3–4 years of relevant experience in civil construction, project coordination, project management, or real estate.
Experience working on major residential, commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, BOQs, estimation, and execution.
Ability to understand and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, costing, quality control, and site execution.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera, or similar project-management tools will be an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Good client-handling and negotiation skills.
Basic understanding and experience in lead generation and business development.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is not limited to desk-based coordination but understands the complete project lifecycle — from lead generation and client interaction to planning, coordination, execution, and project closure.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong, proactive, organized, commercially aware, and capable of taking ownership of projects while working closely with senior management.
