We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editing Intern to join our Kochi team and help us bring our clients' brands to life through compelling visual storytelling.

Role Overview

As a Video Editing Intern, you will work closely with our creative and digital marketing teams to produce high-quality video content tailored for various social media platforms, ad campaigns, and websites. You will have the opportunity to edit raw footage, add effects, and create highly engaging short-form and long-form videos that capture attention and drive conversions. This is an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into polished, professional videos suitable for platforms like Instagram (Reels), YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.
Visual Storytelling: Add graphics, animations, text, subtitles, and sound effects/music to enhance the narrative and engagement of the videos.
Trend Adaptation: Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, audio trends, and viral video formats to ensure our content remains relevant and engaging.
Collaboration: Work with copywriters, graphic designers, and performance marketers to ensure all video content aligns with the campaign's overall strategy and brand guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Equipment Requirement (Bring Your Own Device): You must have your own laptop with sufficient performance capabilities to run video editing software smoothly.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. (Experience with tools like CapCut is a plus for short-form content).
Creative Eye: A strong sense of timing, pacing, color correction, and audio mixing.
Platform Knowledge: A good understanding of the specifications, aspect ratios, and best practices for video content across different social media platforms.
Portfolio: A link to a showreel or portfolio demonstrating your previous video editing work (even if it is academic or personal projects).

Compensation & Perks

Stipend: Please note that this is internship for a minimum duration of 2 months.
Experience: Real-world, hands-on experience working on live digital marketing campaigns for global clients.
Mentorship: Direct guidance and training from experienced creative and digital marketing professionals.
Career Growth: Certificate of completion upon finishing the internship, with the potential for a performance review and transition into a paid/full-time role after the initial 2-month period based on company needs and your contribution.
