About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks for modern web, mobile, API, and data-driven applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring end-to-end application quality by building robust test automation solutions, validating Azure-based data platforms, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
This role requires hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, ETL Testing, API Testing, and Database Testing. Experience working in Healthcare domain applications is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium/WebDriver, Robot Framework, and BDD/TDD methodologies.
- Develop automated test scripts for Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), API, and Database testing.
- Build and execute automated regression, functional, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test suites.
- Validate Azure ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Data Lake.
- Perform ETL validation including source-to-target reconciliation, data migration, transformation, schema validation, and data quality testing.
- Execute SQL validation, database testing, stored procedure validation, and performance testing.
- Automate data validation processes and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Developers, Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure application quality.
- Perform API automation testing using REST APIs, SOAP services, Playwright, or REST Assured.
- Execute cross-browser and cross-platform automation testing using BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or LambdaTest.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and production issues through root cause analysis.
- Review automation frameworks and continuously improve test coverage, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to performance, scalability, and reliability testing for Azure-based applications.
- Maintain automation code repositories using Git/GitHub and support continuous integration through Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or Test Automation Engineer.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level automation frameworks.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience testing Web, Mobile, API, ETL, Database, and Cloud-based applications.
- Healthcare domain experience is preferred.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality automation solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
