POSITION OVERVIEW
Mighty Machines is looking for an experienced General Manager – Manufacturing & Business Operations to take end-to-end responsibility for the company's plant operations and overall business execution at its Peenya facility.
The General Manager will act as a key link between Senior Management and the operating functions, ensuring that business commitments are converted into efficient manufacturing execution.
The role will have responsibility across:
Business Planning → Sales Coordination → Production Planning → Manufacturing → Quality → Procurement → Stores → Maintenance → Cost Control → Customer Delivery → Team Management
The ideal candidate should be capable of managing both the strategic and operational aspects of an engineering manufacturing business.
This is a senior leadership position requiring strong understanding of the precision engineering and heavy engineering manufacturing ecosystem.

- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Peenya facility.
- Translate management objectives into operational plans.
- Ensure coordination between all functional departments.
- Monitor overall plant performance.
- Establish departmental targets and KPIs.

- Ensure business objectives are achieved within agreed timelines and budgets.

- Improve manufacturing lead time.
- Improve on-time delivery.
The General Manager will have overall accountability for ensuring that customer commitments are operationally achievable.

Work with the Quality Head to ensure:
