Overview
EAG Security helps Microsoft strategic customers solve complex security challenges through modern, outcome-led architecture and delivery. The Security Architect is a senior customer-facing technical leader accountable for secure-by-design architectures, presales solutioning, delivery governance, risk management, and measurable customer outcomes across Microsoft Security, cloud security, identity, data protection, SecOps, compliance, and AI security.
This role aligns to EAG Security’s AI-first consulting direction, with emphasis on reusable IP, delivery accelerators, technical mastery, and global scale through consistent standards, architecture quality, and customer value realization.
Responsibilities

Lead secure, scalable and outcome-driven architecture across Microsoft Security and adjacent cloud platforms.

Translate customer business, regulatory and technology needs into pragmatic security roadmaps and solution designs.

Identify architectural risks, control gaps, dependencies and delivery blockers; propose mitigations and alternate controls.

Guide teams through ambiguity by clarifying options, trade-offs, standards and next-step decisions.

Act as a trusted advisor to customer security leaders, including CISOs, enterprise architects and SecOps leaders.

Lead architecture workshops, solution reviews, executive briefings and steering conversations.

Connect Microsoft Security capabilities to business outcomes such as risk reduction, resilience, compliance, operational efficiency and secure innovation.

Partner with sales, solution architects, pursuit teams and delivery leaders to shape qualified security opportunities.

Support discovery, qualification, estimation, resource planning, SOW inputs and solution strategy.

Review deal constructs for feasibility, staffing alignment, delivery readiness, architecture quality and risk.

Contribute to EAG Security deal governance, technical reviews, presales triage and follow-on opportunity identification.

Provide architectural oversight during implementation through checkpoint reviews, risk reviews and escalation support.

Embed AI-first and automation-led delivery practices to improve quality, scale and speed of delivery.

Reuse and contribute to EAG Security delivery IP, accelerators, reference architectures and implementation patterns.

Support adoption of EAG Security agents and AI security capabilities where relevant to customer context.
Qualifications
-
Deep understanding of enterprise security architecture, information security practices, governance and risk management.

Hands-on architecture depth in Microsoft Security: Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview, Defender for Cloud, Intune security, Security Copilot and related services.

Architecture experience across Azure and, preferably, multi-cloud environments including AWS and GCP.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and common regulatory expectations.

Experience with threat modeling, secure design reviews, vulnerability management, penetration testing, DevSecOps and control validation.

Ability to govern Azure and M365 security posture, data flows, endpoint hardening, API/token security, Purview controls, PII/PCI handling and Zero Trust architecture.

Executive communication and CISO-level advisory skills with the ability to simplify complex security trade-offs.

Strong consultative presales, solution-shaping and stakeholder management experience.

Ability to lead difficult technical conversations across stakeholders with different levels of security maturity.

Proven collaboration across sales, delivery, customer success, engineering, support, partners and global EAG stakeholders.

Mentoring mindset, with ability to build team capability through readiness, shadowing, knowledge sharing and reusable assets.
Required Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience. Recommended 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity, cloud security, architecture or consulting experience with exposure to complex customer engagements.
Preferred -
CISSP strongly preferred. Additional certifications such as CISM, CCSP, CCSK, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400 or equivalent cloud/security certifications. Experience with AI-first or automation-led security delivery models is valuable.
