Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our Finance & Accounts team with day-to-day accounting activities, invoice processing, reconciliations, documentation, and financial record maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Tally, basic accounting principles, and MS Excel. Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge and candidates with up to 3 years of experience can apply.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.
Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and other accounting documents.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Assist with bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
Verify purchase and sales invoices and supporting documents.
Maintain proper records of expenses and payments.
Assist in GST-related accounting and documentation.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and maintain customer payment records.
Coordinate with internal teams for invoice and payment-related requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Assist the senior accountant/finance team during audits and month-end closing.
Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

Tally – Mandatory
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Knowledge of MS Excel.
Basic knowledge of GST and TDS will be an added advantage.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Education

B.Com / M.Com / BBA Finance / equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant accounting certification may also apply.

Experience

0–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Freshers with strong knowledge of Tally and accounting principles are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Candidate

Should be comfortable working with Tally on a daily basis.
Should have good knowledge of accounting entries.
Should be organized and detail-oriented.
Should be willing to learn and grow with the organization.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
