Full job description

As a Web Developer at Ohmyweb, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and WordPress. You will work collaboratively with the development team to create efficient, user-friendly websites and applications while following best practices and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Development
Build and maintain websites using core PHP and CodeIgniter framework
Develop and customize WordPress websites
Create responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implement website features and functionality based on client requirements
Technical Tasks
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Debug and fix issues in existing applications
Perform basic database operations and optimizations
Ensure cross-browser compatibility
Follow security best practices in development
Framework Implementation
Develop applications using CodeIgniter framework
Work with MVC architecture patterns
Integrate third-party APIs when needed
Create and modify database schemas
WordPress Development
Install and configure WordPress sites
Customize existing WordPress themes
Install and configure plugins
Implement basic WordPress customizations
Collaboration
Work effectively with senior developers and team members
Communicate with project managers about task progress
Follow team coding standards and guidelines
Participate in code reviews
Document code and development processes
Learning & Growth
Keep up with current web development trends
Learn new technologies and tools
Apply feedback from senior developers
Contribute ideas for process improvements

Technical Requirements:

Working knowledge of core PHP programming
Experience with CodeIgniter framework
Basic WordPress development skills
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Understanding of MySQL databases
Familiarity with version control (Git)
Basic knowledge of web security practices
Experience with responsive web design

Nice to Have:

Experience with jQuery
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs
Knowledge of front-end frameworks
Experience with Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
