Deputy Manager Accounts Profile Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts professional with 14–22 years of strong experience in core accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in accounting finalization, statutory compliance, GST, TDS, income tax, audits, MIS reporting, budgeting, cash flow management and business finance.

The candidate should possess strong financial control, analytical and business acumen and be capable of managing the finance function in a fast-growing, performance-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Operations & Statutory Compliance

· Handle day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

· Manage finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.

· Coordinate Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits.

· Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

· Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

· Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes.

2. Business Finance & Profitability – Key Responsibility

· Identify opportunities for cost optimization and expense control.

· Drive margin improvement and profitability enhancement.

· Provide financial insights to management for business decision-making.

· Monitor business performance against financial targets.

3. MIS, Management Reporting & Analysis

· Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management.

· Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reports.

· Conduct Budget vs. Actual variance analysis and identify key deviations.

· Provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to management.

· Track key financial and operational performance indicators.

4. Budgeting & Financial Planning

· Assist the annual budgeting and financial planning process.

· Prepare periodic financial forecasts and business projections.

· Develop 3–5 year business plans and financial projections.

· Prepare financial models for business planning and decision-making.

· Monitor budget utilization and recommend corrective actions.

5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

· Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts and fund requirements.

· Manage working capital and liquidity.

· Coordinate banking activities and maintain effective banking relationships.

· Support debt planning and financial arrangements.

· Monitor receivables, collections and vendor payment cycles.

· Ensure optimum utilization of available funds.

6. Team Leadership & Process Management

· Lead, guide and supervise the Accounts & Finance team.

· Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.

· Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.

· Improve accounting processes, controls and reporting systems.

· Coordinate effectively with management, auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of Accounting & Financial Management.

· Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

· Strong expertise in MIS, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

· Good understanding of cash flow, working capital and treasury management.

· Strong financial controls and business acumen.

· Ability to analyze profitability and identify cost and margin improvement opportunities.

· Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.

· Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· High ownership, accountability and execution-oriented approach.

· Ability to work effectively in a high-growth, performance-driven environment.

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance is required.

· CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA Finance will be an added advantage.

· 14–22 years of relevant experience in Core Accounts & Finance is mandatory.

· Candidates with experience in Finance Management, Accounting Finalization, MIS, Taxation, Audits, Budgeting and Cash Flow Management will be preferred.

· Experience in managing and leading an Accounts & Finance team is preferred.

· 6-day working week.
