Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and within defined timelines.
- Process salary calculations including earnings, overtime, incentives, bonuses, reimbursements, deductions, and full & final settlements.
- Calculate and verify statutory compliances such as EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund, and other applicable payroll deductions.
- Review attendance, leave, shift, and payroll inputs before processing salaries.
- Generate payslips, salary registers, payroll reports, bank transfer files, and MIS reports.
- Ensure timely statutory filings, challan preparation, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality of employee data.
- Resolve payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
- Work extensively on payroll software and Microsoft Excel for payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Stay updated with payroll regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll, EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, overtime, leave encashment, and full & final settlements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis).
- Experience working with payroll software or HRMS systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
