Perform complex data transformations (Joins, Unions, Group By, Filter) to blend external records with Workday Core HCM/Finance objects (e.g., blending Salesforce Revenue data with Workday Sales Compensation data).</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><b>Advanced Visualization:</b><span> Design and configure executive-level </span><b>Discovery Boards</b><span> and </span><b>Composite Reports</b><span> that visualize blended data, providing insights that standard Workday reporting cannot achieve.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><b>Security Architecture:</b><span> Define and enforce </span><b>Prism Security Domains</b><span>, ensuring that sensitive external data (e.g., historical payroll or diversity benchmarks) is restricted to appropriate user groups.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><b>Solution Design:</b><span> Partner with Finance and HR stakeholders to determine the "Buy vs. Build" strategy for reporting—advising when to use Workday Prism versus external data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).</span></b></p></li></ul><p><b><span>L2 Support & Operational Management </span></b></p><ul><li><p><b><b>Pipeline Monitoring:</b><span> specific monitoring of daily scheduled data imports (API/SFTP). Investigate and resolve failures related to "Bad Rows," API timeouts, or schema mismatches.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><b>Performance Tuning:</b><span> Troubleshoot and optimize slow-running reports or Prism datasets that exceed processing time limits. Refactor inefficient calculated fields or join logic.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><b>Capacity Governance:</b><span> specific management of </span><b>Prism Storage Capacity</b><span>. Implement data retention policies, archive obsolete datasets, and optimize row counts to remain within licensed limits.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><b>Change Management:</b><span> Perform impact analysis on Prism datasets during bi-annual Workday releases.
