Role Overview
As the Head of Products and Platforms for JBS, you will lead and scale the team of Product Managers, Platform Leads, and the AI Platform Lead who build and operate the foundational platform layer powering JBS, JLL's 6,000+ person Business Services operation across six locations and growing. Your mission is to treat the JBS platform as a unified, multi-tenant platform where business teams, BE&T, and partner vendors can deliver secure, performant, and scalable AI and workflow outcomes. You will be the senior India-based executive interface to BE&T leadership and JBS Functional Leaders. You will be accountable for platform reliability, vendor commercials, lifecycle integrity, and the delivery pace of AI products across the JBS portfolio.
Core Responsibilities
People Leadership and Talent Building. Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Product Managers, Platform Leads, and AI Platform Leads (for platforms such as AgentCore). Establish a product culture rooted in outcome-driven delivery, clear platform standards, and engineering empathy. Build senior bench depth in India.
Portfolio Coherence and Golden Paths. Eliminate fragmented interfaces and redundant build silos across the 15+ platforms. Own the horizontal roadmap that allows new AI use cases and engineered builds to immediately inherit shared identity, integration, telemetry, and governance primitives. Lead joint platform tier classification with BE&T and drive rationalization where overlap exists.
AI and Automation Primitives. Drive the productization of AI platforms such as AgentCore and Claude or other JBS AI platforms of choice. Direct the development of MCPs, connectors, and shared integration capability serving all AI builds. Partner with JLLT Engineering on Forward Deployed Engineer practice. Set the strategy for the Claude Code path including the Central Engineering interface where applicable.
Vendor, Commercial, and Lifecycle Management. Own vendor relationships across the platform portfolio with commercial outcome focus. Drive cloud cost visibility through contracts and automation. Manage license and commercial discipline. Coordinate platform onboarding and offboarding with BE&T-OTS. Ensure security, risk, BCP / DR, and compliance coverage across the portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement and Operating Model Stewardship. Act as the senior in-region partner to BE&T leadership. Steward the joint JBS Technology Operating Model. Chair or co-chair the Portfolio and Engagement Forum on India cadence. Coordinate operational interfaces with ITSM Enablement and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE(. Orchestrate release coordination with BE&T-IA (LCNC delivery team owns adoption and user communication). Partner across other technology and business function lines to drive prioritization for Business Services roadmap and dependencies.
Partner with Product lines (BE&T) to support and drive product and platform strategy. Drive prioritization and alignment of JBS goals and roadmap across key Corporate functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing and Legal.
Position Success Metrics
Platform Reliability and Cost Discipline. Uptime against SLA across Tier 1 and Tier 2 platforms. Platform cost trend year over year. License utilization rate.
AI Delivery Velocity. Time-to-go-live for new AI use cases on AI Platforms. Pipeline conversion rate from AI Possibility Forum to production. Agent reliability metrics post-go-live.
Cross-Platform Reuse and Rationalization. Percentage of new builds leveraging shared identity, integration, and telemetry primitives instead of bespoke setups. Platform consolidation milestones executed on schedule.
Operating Model Health. BE&T leadership satisfaction with the JLLT interface. Closure rate of joint platform tier classification commitments. Forum cadence sustained on the agreed rhythm.
Talent and Bench Depth. Retention of senior leads in India. Quality of bench for AI Platform Lead and Platform Lead roles.
Required Qualifications
Leadership Experience. 15+ years of progressive technology leadership, with 5+ years explicitly spent managing and scaling multi-tier Product and Platform Management structures. Demonstrated success building and developing senior engineering and platform teams in India.
Platform Depth. Proven track record managing 10+ enterprise platforms with full vendor commercials, lifecycle accountability, and cost discipline. Experience across workflow platforms, LCNC platforms, and AI or agent platforms required.
AI and Agentic Architecture Fluency. Deep working knowledge of LLM platforms, agent orchestration, MCPs and connectors, and the Forward Deployed Engineer practice. Direct experience with AWS Bedrock (AgentCore), Anthropic Claude platforms, or comparable agent ecosystems strongly preferred.
Delivery and Operational Fluency. Scaled-agile delivery fluency across SAFe Portfolio, ART, and Scrum. ITIL 4 understanding for operational discipline. Familiarity with ITSM tooling (ServiceNow), SRE practice, and platform observability.
Commercial and Technical Balance. Ability to collaborate seamlessly with Enterprise Architects and Engineering leaders while presenting unified platform strategy to senior business leaders and C-suite stakeholders. Strong commercial acumen across vendor negotiation, cloud cost, and financial management.
Executive Presence and Operating Rhythm. Comfortable interfacing with global stakeholders across US, UK, and APAC. India-based with established operating rhythm across global time zones.
