The Assistant Manager – HR is responsible for driving the organization's talent acquisition strategy while ensuring healthy employee relations and compliance. The role focuses on 70% Recruitment and 30% Employee Relations, ensuring timely hiring of quality talent and maintaining a positive work environment
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for Customer Support Executives, Team Leaders, Quality Analysts, Trainers, WFM, MIS, and support functions.

Prepare manpower plans in coordination with business and operations teams.
-
Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, walk-ins, social media, campus hiring, consultants, and internal databases.

Screen resumes and conduct HR interviews.

Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and operations.
-
Ensure timely offer rollouts, documentation, and pre-joining engagement.
-
Track recruitment metrics including TAT, source mix, offer-to-join ratio, joining ratio, and cost per hire.

Build talent pipelines for bulk hiring requirements.

Conduct recruitment drives, walk-in campaigns, and campus engagement activities.
Employee Relations:

Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues.

Investigate employee complaints and conflicts in a fair, confidential, and timely manner.

Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on ER issues and disciplinary actions.

Maintain documentation of all ER cases and outcomes.

Attrition analysis / Shrinkage analysis / Retention efforts / Win Back / ER calendar / Monthly / Weekly reviews with Ops and HR heads will be the main KPI’s
Compliance and Policy Enforcement:

Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.

Draft and update HR policies and SOPs in compliance with labor and BPO industry standards.

Coordinate with legal counsel for sensitive or escalated issues as needed.
Engagement & Retention:
-
Assist in designing and executing employee engagement programs.

Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys, one-on-ones, and exit interviews.

Recommend retention strategies based on ER data and trends.

Shrinkage and attrition calling

1to1’s and skips meetings to understand issues and resolve

Communication & Training:

Conduct orientation and training sessions on company policies, POSH, workplace behavior, and conflict resolution.

Support change management and internal communication strategies for HR initiatives.
HR Support & Reporting:

Collaborate with recruitment, payroll, and training teams as needed.

Generate monthly/quarterly ER dashboards, attrition reports, and engagement score analysis.
