About the Role
Pattabhi Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced, strategic, and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in financial planning, treasury management, cash flow optimization, working capital management, statutory compliance, and business strategy within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury, Costing, and Audit functions of the organization.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term business objectives.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and funds management to ensure adequate liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve profitability across all business units.
- Oversee fund planning, capital expenditure, and investment decisions.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor financial performance and present strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, ROC, and all applicable statutory regulations.
- Lead internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and financial risk management.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Evaluate business expansion opportunities, capital investments, mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising initiatives.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and operational excellence.
- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Implement and optimize ERP-based financial systems and reporting processes.
Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory. MBA (Finance) or an equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- 15–20 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, including senior leadership roles such as CFO, Finance Head, Financial Controller, or Head of Finance.
- Strong hands-on experience in cash flow management, working capital optimization, treasury operations, and funds management.
- Proven experience in FMCG, Food Processing, Agro Processing, Manufacturing, or Process Industries.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, costing, taxation, auditing, corporate finance, and financial planning.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, or similar enterprise financial systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work closely with senior management, Banking Sector and business leaders to drive financial performance and organizational growth.
