Role Purpose
The Lean Partner (Mid-Level) will support and drive Lean thinking, A3 problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives across NNE India. Working closely with the Manager – Strategy & Communications, this role will help embed a culture of operational excellence, facilitate improvement workshops, and enable cross-functional teams (AIT, PFD, PM & Support functions) to deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate A3 problem-solving workshops, Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Gemba walks across NNE India projects and functions.
- Coach project teams, engineers, and middle managers on Lean principles, 5S, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
- Support the deployment of the A3 Center of Excellence (CoE) — including training, facilitator network, and knowledge management.
- Partner with project teams to identify, scope, and execute continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Track Lean KPIs, document improvement case studies, and report benefits realisation (cost, quality, lead time, productivity) to the Manager – Strategy & Communications.
- Support the development and delivery of Lean training / A3 problem solving across the organization.
- Collaborate with the NNE DK Lean/SPS community to align local practices with corporate standards.
- Contribute to strategic communications around Lean — including internal campaigns, success stories, and leadership updates.
- Assist with change management activities tied to Lean transformation initiatives.
- Maintain Lean dashboards & governance trackers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in Lean, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Process Improvement roles.
- Hands-on experience with A3 thinking, VSM, Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt a plus)
- Experience in pharma, engineering consultancy, EPC/EPCM, or regulated industries is preferred.
- Strong facilitation and workshop delivery experience.
