Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Logistics Coordinator with strong managerial and leadership capabilities to join our growing logistics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end logistics operations, managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth, cost-effective, and timely delivery of shipments. This role requires excellent communication skills, a presentable personality, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesLogistics Coordination & Operations

Manage day-to-day logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
Plan and coordinate shipment schedules, routing, and dispatch to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
Track and monitor shipments, ensuring adherence to company standards and client commitments.
Coordinate with vendors, transporters, suppliers, and partners for smooth logistics execution.
Identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics expenses.

Process Improvement & Optimization

Identify gaps and opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to streamline workflows.
Utilize logistics software and tools for routing, tracking, inventory management, and reporting.

Client & Vendor Relationship Management

Maintain strong professional relationships with key clients and service providers.
Ensure service quality and adherence to contractual SLAs.
Assist in vendor negotiations, rate discussions, and service evaluations.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare regular MIS reports on shipment status, operational performance, and cost analysis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
Support internal audits and process reviews.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Presentable personality with a professional attitude.
Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
