The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, approaching, and onboarding new hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare organizations related to NABH Accreditation, CGHS Empanelment, ECHS Empanelment, Ayushman Bharat (AB-PMJAY) Empanelment, Insurance & TPA Empanelment, Licensing, and other healthcare quality improvement projects.
The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and expanding the organization's presence in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Business Development
- Identify and generate new leads from hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare organizations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential healthcare clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong database of prospective clients.
- Schedule meetings and presentations with hospital owners, directors, administrators, and management teams.
- Convert leads into business opportunities and signed MOU.
- Achieve monthly and annual business development targets.
NABH Accreditation Business
- Promote consultancy services for NABH Entry Level, Progressive Level, and Full Accreditation.
- Explain NABH benefits, requirements, timelines, and accreditation processes to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with the consultancy team for proposal preparation and project execution.
CGHS & ECHS Empanelment Business
- Identify hospitals eligible for CGHS and ECHS empanelment.
- Present empanelment benefits and business opportunities to hospital management.
- Generate projects related to CGHS and ECHS empanelment.
- Coordinate with internal teams for documentation and project implementation.
Ayushman Bharat (AB-PMJAY) Empanelment
- Approach eligible hospitals for Ayushman Bharat empanelment services.
- Explain empanelment criteria, package benefits, and government requirements.
- Support client onboarding and coordination during project execution.
Insurance & TPA Empanelment Business
- Generate business opportunities for private insurance and TPA empanelment services.
- Educate healthcare providers about cashless services, insurance networking, and revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Coordinate with project teams for empanelment execution and follow-up.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital owners, directors, medical superintendents, administrators, and decision-makers.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospects and existing clients.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Generate referrals and repeat business opportunities.
Proposal & Contract Management
- Prepare and submit proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, project scope, and contract terms.
- Coordinate agreement signing and project handover to operations teams.
Marketing & Networking
- Participate in healthcare conferences, medical associations, hospital events, and networking programs.
- Promote company services through digital marketing, social media, and professional networking.
- Represent the organization professionally at industry events and meetings.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily lead tracking and sales activity records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Update CRM and client databases regularly.
- Track project conversion ratios and revenue generation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing/Healthcare Management) preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, hospital business development, healthcare consultancy, insurance, or related sectors.
- Experience in NABH, CGHS, ECHS, Ayushman Bharat, TPA, or healthcare projects will be preferred.
