Full job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for efficient communication between application layers.
Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Participate in application deployment and maintenance on AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and enterprise security policies.
Perform troubleshooting, performance analysis, and issue resolution across the stack.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Qualifications

3–6 years of professional experience in full stack Java development.
Strong proficiency in Java (version 8 or above) and Spring Boot.
Proven expertise in PostgreSQL, including query writing and database optimization.
Hands-on experience with front-end technologies: Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with cloud deployment on AWS or GCP, including CI/CD integration.
Familiarity with Git-based version control systems and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, API gateways, or service mesh architectures.
Exposure to cloud-native services such as AWS RDS, ECS, Lambda, or GCP Cloud SQL and App Engine.
Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React or Angular) will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
