Job Description – AI Product Manager (Manufacturing Domain)

Experience: 10+ Years
Location: Any UST Location
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Product Manager with strong expertise in the Manufacturing domain to lead the development and delivery of AI-powered products. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases, define product strategy, and drive end-to-end product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the AI product strategy and roadmap aligned with manufacturing business objectives.
Identify and prioritize AI use cases such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, quality inspection, demand forecasting, and production optimization.
Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders, data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
Define product requirements, success metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, ROI, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
Oversee the complete AI product lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality data pipelines, model deployment, and MLOps processes.
Monitor AI model performance, accuracy, latency, and model drift, ensuring continuous optimization.
Conduct technical feasibility assessments and prioritize features based on business value.
Communicate complex AI concepts effectively to business users and leadership teams.
Ensure AI solutions comply with data privacy, governance, and ethical AI standards.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in AI/ML or Manufacturing Technology.
Strong understanding of Manufacturing processes, production planning, supply chain, and factory operations.
Experience managing AI or Machine Learning products from concept to production.
Good understanding of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, and Data Science concepts.
Knowledge of MLOps architecture, AI deployment, and data pipeline management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience defining product roadmaps, business cases, and success metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Familiarity with Manufacturing systems such as ERP and MES.
Experience working with Agile product development methodologies.
MBA or Product Management certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience delivering AI products in enterprise manufacturing environments.
