- Purpose of role : Design pedagogically sound digital learning courses and educational resources in accordance with Digital Learning Framework and in collaborative partnership with academic staff.
Core objectives include:
- Collaborate with academic staff and subject matter experts to design and storyboard learning experiences that align with subject objectives, learning outcomes, and assessments.
- Develop and build online and hybrid subjects using digital learning technologies, ensuring activities and resources promote engagement, accessibility, and active learning.
- Develop and contribute to institutional resources, such as templates, style guides, and best-practice guidelines, to ensure consistent, high-quality course design.
- Support faculty through professional development training, consultations, and documentation on effective learning design practices, current trends and innovations in digital learning instruction, educational research and use of design tools.
- Work with multimedia specialists and LMS administrators to integrate visual assets, digital tools, and interactive elements that enhance learner experience.
- Ensure courses meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to support diverse learners.
- Participate in subject development and review processes, using learner feedback and analytics to support continuous improvement.
Experience:
- Experience in designing digital learning courses for delivery in blended learning Higher Education and VET learning environments • Experience in teaching and online facilitation
- Experience in designing and delivering professional development workshops and facilitating Communities of Practice.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience in applying this to designing digital learning resources.
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with, Moodle or other Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Adobe Acrobat, Articulate 360 and Canva.
- Knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (WCAG 2.1 AA standards) used in web content design and online education.
Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per month
