Metplast Industries is the authorized distributor and service partner for a world-leading manufacturer of egg grading, packing, and processing equipment based in the Netherlands. We are looking for a hands-on Service & Installation Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and service advanced egg grading and packing systems across India. The selected candidate will receive technical guidance and support from our principal partner and will work closely with our engineering team to deliver world-class after-sales service.
This role offers excellent exposure to advanced automation, industrial machinery, PLC-based systems, and international engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of egg grading and packing machines.
- Electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring, alignment, and machine setup.
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and sensor-related issues.
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown service at customer sites.
- Diagnose faults and provide quick technical solutions.
- Coordinate with the technical support team in the Netherlands whenever required.
- Prepare service reports and maintain detailed maintenance records.
- Train customer operators on machine operation and routine maintenance.
- Travel extensively across India for installations and emergency service calls.
- Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 2 to 8 years of experience in installation, commissioning, or servicing of industrial machinery.
- Freshers with excellent technical aptitude may also be considered.
Technical Skills
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of industrial control panels, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and electrical drawings.
- Basic mechanical maintenance and assembly skills.
- Familiarity with PLC-based machines is preferred.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Experience with packaging, food processing, poultry, automation, or manufacturing machinery is an advantage.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

Role 2: Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering department, overseeing all design and automation activities.
- Design and develop electrical control panels, schematics, and wiring diagrams for industrial machinery.
- Oversee the assembly and testing of control panels and automation systems in the factory.
- Drive R&D initiatives to improve existing equipment and develop new electrical solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical projects from concept to commissioning support.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians within the department.
