Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Talent Acquisition Specialist who can proactively build a strong database of contract IT professionals before client requirements arise. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in sourcing, engaging, screening, and maintaining relationships with freelance and contract developers across multiple technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a database of pre-screened IT professionals.
- Source contract developers through LinkedIn, Upwork, Toptal, GitHub, Indeed, Naukri, Wellfound, and other professional communities.
- Identify candidates across technologies including:
- AI/ML & GenAI
- Data Engineering
- Blockchain
- Web & Mobile
- Cloud & DevOps
- Salesforce
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- SailPoint & IAM
- Conduct initial HR screening calls.
- Assess communication skills, availability, notice period, hourly/monthly rates, location, and contract preferences.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS/Google Sheets/CRM.
- Build long-term relationships with high-quality contractors.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
- Ensure the talent pipeline remains updated and deployment-ready.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of IT recruitment experience.
- Experience in contract staffing or IT staffing.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and professional communities.
- Ability to identify quality technical talent.
- Experience maintaining candidate databases and ATS.
- Comfortable working with international clients and time zones.
- Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Self-driven, organized, and target-oriented.
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting for US, UK, or Middle East clients.
- Understanding of C2C, W2, 1099, or offshore staffing models.
- Familiarity with major cloud and software technologies.
