Job Summary**
As a Workday Absence Management Analyst at BP PLC, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our retail operations by leveraging your expertise in Workday Absence Management. You will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of our absence management system, ensuring its alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.
Job Responsibilities**
* Configure and maintain Workday Absence Management modules, including absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules, specifically tailored for BP's retail sector.
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions, utilizing Design Thinking principles.
* Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of Workday configurations and integrations to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
* Collaborate with HR, IT, and retail operations teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
* Apply Agility core practices to project execution, fostering iterative development and continuous improvement.
* Perform data analysis to identify trends, optimize absence policies, and report on key performance indicators related to absence management.
* Support market scanning to identify new Workday features, industry best practices, and potential improvements for absence management within the retail context.
* Contribute to change management efforts, leading transformation initiatives related to Workday Absence Management.
* Develop and deliver training materials and support documentation for end-users.
* Participate in Product Ownership activities, prioritizing backlogs and ensuring alignment with business value.
* Assist with Project and programme management tasks related to Workday implementations and upgrades.
* Leverage Organizational Knowledge to understand BP's unique retail landscape and integrate absence management strategies effectively.
* Support Talent Strategy initiatives by ensuring the absence management system effectively supports employee well-being and productivity.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience with Workday Absence Management configuration and support.
* Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement and technical documentation.
* Experience with configuration management and related processes.
* Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and reporting.
* Familiarity with Design Thinking methodologies.
* Experience in leading transformation initiatives or contributing to significant system changes.
* Knowledge of retail industry operations and HR processes.
* Understanding of Agility core practices.
* Experience with testing and quality assurance methodologies.
* Basic understanding of User Experience Design principles is a plus.
