Full job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial statements (balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow)
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure organizational stability.
Analyze data to guide investments and risk management strategies.
Collaborate with teams to optimize resource allocation and achieve goals.
Must have know how of TALLY and ZOHO Books
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
Handle GST, TDS, and other tax filings (if applicable)
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho books )
Good understanding of taxation and compliance (GST, Income Tax)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Skills & Competencies:

Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Time management and organizational abilities
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

CA/Inter CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance)
Experience in a similar industry

Work Experience:

1–3 years (can be adjusted based on role level)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Bhubaneswar, Orissa: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
