Job Description Global Project Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a resilient politically savvy and highly organized Global Project Manager to
lead a critical strategic initiative migrating our multinational organization from disparate
countryspecific email systems to a single unified global email domain
This role sits at the intersection of global strategy and local execution You will be responsible
for orchestrating the central infrastructure roadmap while simultaneously aligning negotiating
with and driving local country teams to update their regional infrastructure Because this
change impacts local autonomy managing significant stakeholder resistance standing
your ground and knowing exactly when and how to escalate are critical success factors for
this role
Key Responsibilities
1 Global Strategy Central Planning
Infrastructure Roadmap Define plan and execute the global infrastructure milestones
required to support a single email domain across all operating countries
Dependency Management Coordinate closely with central IT cybersecurity and
enterprise architecture teams to ensure the global backbone is ready for rollout
Governance Establish clear project KPIs timelines and reporting structures for global
leadership
2 Local Alignment Rollout Coordination
Country Engagement Act as the primary bridge between the global project team and
local country ITBusiness leads
Local Infrastructure Planning Align with each country to map out their local technical
readiness legacy system deprecation and migration timelines
Resource Tracking Ensure local business units allocate the necessary budget and
technical resources to meet the global timeline
3 Stakeholder Management Change Resistance
Navigate Resistance Expect identify and actively manage pushback from country
leads regarding local constraints timing or loss of local branding
Firm Negotiation Defend the global template and objective ensuring local exceptions
are heavily scrutinized and minimized
Strategic Escalation Know when consensus cannot be reached Diplomatically but
firmly escalate blockers to executive sponsors before they impact the critical path
Profile Requirements
Experience Education
Project Management Expertise 10 plus years of experience leading complex largescale
IT infrastructure projects within a multinational or global matrix organization
Domain Knowledge Proven track record of managing enterprisewide email migrations
eg Office 365 Google Workspace consolidation and identity management Active
Directory rollouts
Identity Access Management IAM Strong knowledge of Active Directory AD
Azure AD Entra ID or other identity providers like Okta or Ping Understanding
directory synchronization eg AAD Connect single signon SSO and authentication
protocols SAML OAuth is crucial for consolidating identities before a migration
Change Management Demonstrable experience driving adoption in environments with
high institutional resistance

High Resilience Thick Skin Comfortable being the bearer of centralized mandates
and handling pushback without losing focus or momentum
Excellent Stakeholder Management Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
from local system administrators to Clevel global executives
Firm yet Diplomatic Strong negotiation skills with the ability to say no constructively
while maintaining professional relationships
Conflict Resolution Sharp judgment on when to problemsolve locally versus when to
formally escalate to leadership
