Full job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support the accounts team in ensuring smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accounts payable and receivable records
Record daily transactions and update accounting software
Prepare invoices, purchase entries, and expense reports
Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
Assist in GST filing and compliance activities
Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors
Support monthly and year-end closing processes
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Requirements

B.Com / M.Com or relevant qualification
Experience: Fresher
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Familiarity with accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books / similar)
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of GST and basic taxation
Experience in retail / hardware / IT industry (added advantage)
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
