Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager with strong experience in the Home Furnishing / Interior / Textile Industry. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding the company's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the home furnishing and interior segment.
Generate leads through market research, networking, references, exhibitions, and industry contacts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, developers, hotels, corporates, retailers, and institutional clients.
Prepare and present product proposals, quotations, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements with clients.
Convert leads into successful business opportunities and ensure timely closure.

Market Development

Identify emerging market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
Explore new territories, customer segments, and distribution channels.
Develop strategies for increasing market share and brand visibility.
Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, client meetings, and industry events.
Build a strong network within the home furnishing and interior industry.

Client Relationship Management

Maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
Understand client requirements and coordinate with design, production, and operations teams for execution.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Handle client queries, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
Follow up on orders, deliveries, payments, and repeat business opportunities.

Team & Internal Coordination

Coordinate with Design, Sales, Production, Procurement, Accounts, and Operations teams.
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business development MIS.
Track leads, opportunities, quotations, orders, and conversions.
Provide regular updates on business performance and market developments to senior management.

Required Skills

Strong sales and business development skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Strong client networking and relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of home furnishing, textiles, upholstery, curtains, blinds, carpets, wallpapers, furniture, or interior products.
Strong market knowledge and commercial understanding.
Ability to generate leads and independently close business.
Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM tools.
Target-oriented and proactive approach.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Textiles, Interior Design, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

5–8 years of relevant experience in Home Furnishing, Interior, Textile, Furniture, Hospitality, or related industries.
Existing network with architects, interior designers, builders, hotels, corporates, and institutional clients will be an advantage.
Proven track record of achieving sales/business development targets.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

New business generation and revenue growth.
Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Number and quality of new clients acquired.
Lead-to-business conversion ratio.
Client retention and repeat business.
Growth in market coverage and business pipeline.
Timely collection and closure of commercial transactions.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
