About Blaize
Blaize (Nasdaq: BZAI) builds a programmable AI platform for inference in real-world environments. At its core, the Blaize Graph Streaming Processor (GSP) is a purpose-built, energy-efficient architecture for real-world AI inference, combined with GPU in a hybrid AI infrastructure that runs across the edge, cloud, and datacenter. Our platform powers computer vision, multimodal AI, and sensor-driven applications across smart cities, industrial automation, telecommunications, retail, logistics, healthcare, automotive, and defense.
Blaize is expanding from edge AI hardware into a full platform that combines its hardware systems with Blaize AI Services, the software and services layer that delivers deployable AI solutions for enterprises, governments, and cloud service providers worldwide. By combining differentiated computing architecture with scalable AI Services, we help organizations deploy intelligence where decisions matter most.

About the Role
Blaize is looking for a Senior End-User Support Engineer whose core strength is Linux. Our engineering teams run on Linux desktops and laptops, and supporting them well takes real depth: someone who knows Linux end-user environments inside and out, solves the vast majority of issues on first touch, and makes the people around them better in the process.
This is a hands-on role. You will work directly with users and their machines, and that includes a share of the physical hardware work in our Hyderabad office: setups, swaps, and peripherals. As the team grows, more of that work will shift to others. It will always be part of how this team operates, but it is not the center of this role. The center is Linux.
You will be the person the team leans on. Junior team members will learn from watching you work. Users will notice the difference in how quickly and clearly their issues get resolved. There is real scope to shape how end-user support runs at Blaize, and to mentor teammates who want to grow.
This role is part of a globally distributed team and requires clear written and verbal communication in English, as you will regularly collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different regions and time zones.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the senior technical resource for Linux end-user support, resolving complex desktop and laptop issues quickly and with a high first-touch resolution rate.
- Own the Linux end-user computing environment: device builds and imaging, OS configuration, software deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Share in hands-on hardware support for laptops, desktops, and peripherals in the Hyderabad office: setup, diagnosis, repair coordination, and replacement.
- Troubleshoot identity and access issues for end users, including authentication, SSO, and access problems in Okta and Active Directory.
- Support users on the collaboration and productivity stack at a working level: Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and Confluence.
- Work with Intune and our device management tooling as we build that capability out.
- Keep device inventory and asset records current as part of day-to-day work. This is routine record-keeping alongside the technical work, not a specialty of the role.
- Manage and prioritize your work through Jira Service Management, keeping tickets current and communication with users clear throughout.
- Mentor and actively develop junior team members through direct coaching, knowledge transfer, and leading by example.
- Collaborate with senior infrastructure and security engineers on escalations and cross-functional issues.
What We Are Looking For
- Expert, hands-on experience supporting Linux desktops and laptops in an enterprise environment. This is the core requirement for the role.
- A genuine service mindset: fast, calm, patient, and clear with users at every technical level.
- Willingness to pitch in on the physical, hands-on side of end-user support. The core of the role is Linux, but nobody on this team is above swapping a laptop or setting up a desk.
- Clear written and verbal English for daily work with a global team.
Nice to Have
- Windows end-user support experience. Helpful, but not required; Linux depth matters more to us.
- macOS familiarity, or the willingness to develop it.
- Experience with Okta, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune or another MDM platform, or Jira Service Management.
- General networking knowledge as it applies to end-user connectivity: DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and security fundamentals for end-user computing.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Linux+, ITIL, Microsoft certifications).
How You Work
- You resolve issues quickly and effectively, drawing on prior experience to identify solutions without unnecessary escalation.
- You communicate with users in a calm, professional, and patient manner, adapting your approach to varying technical skill levels and using clear, plain language.
- You document consistently and clearly; fixes, processes, and learnings are captured so the team benefits from them.
- You perform well in fast-changing, unstructured environments, proactively managing priorities and maintaining ownership of your workload.
- You take mentoring seriously, actively supporting the development of others and finding fulfillment in helping teammates grow and succeed.
- You contribute positive energy to the team, focusing on problem-solving over complaining, and openly sharing knowledge to strengthen collective capability.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on end-user support experience with meaningful depth in Linux environments. We will consider candidates with fewer years whose depth and quality of experience is clear.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
A Note on the Opportunity
End-user support at Blaize is not a holding pattern or a steppingstone. It is a critical function that directly affects how well our engineers and business teams can do their jobs. There is real room to improve what we have, build better processes, and raise the bar on what the team can deliver. For the right person, there is also a natural path to expand into broader infrastructure disciplines over time. If you want ownership of that and the support of a global team behind you, this is the right role.
