Reporting To: Project Manager / Technical Lead
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Executive to support the deployment, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT Infrastructure, Networking, Cybersecurity, Data Center, and Managed Services projects. The candidate will be responsible for onsite technical activities, customer coordination, system installation, health checks, and technical support across enterprise and government environments.
Candidates with experience in System Integrators, IT Infrastructure Companies, Data Center Providers, Managed Service Providers, Defence Projects, Government Projects, or Enterprise IT Environments will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Deployment & Implementation
- Install, configure, and commission IT infrastructure solutions.
- Deploy Servers, Storage, Network Switches, Firewalls, and Security Appliances.
- Perform rack installation, cable management, patching, and hardware integration.
- Execute project deployment activities as per approved design and implementation plans.
Network & Security Support
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wireless Networks.
- Support firewall deployment and security policy implementation.
- Diagnose network connectivity and performance issues.
- Coordinate with OEM support teams for issue resolution.
System Administration
- Monitor and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- User administration and access management.
- Backup monitoring and restoration support.
- Perform system health checks and preventive maintenance.
Customer & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with customer IT teams during deployment and support activities.
- Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
- Support UAT, testing, and acceptance activities.
- Ensure timely closure of technical issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare installation reports and site activity reports.
- Maintain asset and configuration records.
- Update project documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Document incidents, changes, and resolutions.
Incident Management
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Support remote and onsite issue resolution.
- Escalate critical incidents to OEMs and technical leads.
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely ticket closure.
