01The actual work
What will you actually do as a Reverse Engineer at CryptoMize?
01
Own malware-analysis workstreams on live engagements — reverse engineer samples to characterize their attributes, correlate indicators into larger attack architectures, and produce the proof-of-concept tooling that supports real-time family tracking
02
Conduct vulnerability analysis of complex and diverse software systems and network architectures encountered across client engagements
03
Defeat anti-analysis techniques — encryption, obfuscation, virtual-machine detection, and conditional coding — to recover the tactics, techniques, and procedures malware authors intended to hide
04
Serve as the subject-matter expert on cyber threats and attack vectors for engagement teams and their clients
05
Monitor underground marketplace activity for new threats being distributed or discussed by cyber actors, feeding early-warning products
06
Build and maintain detection rules and YARA-class signatures derived from your analysis
07
Mentor the analysts and interns attached to your engagements, and carry the quality standard for every binary report CryptoMize ships
08
Publish technique notes internally — the deconstruction write-ups that raise the whole cell's capability between engagements
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Reverse Engineer at CryptoMize you will carry the technical floor of security engagements: dissecting malware and attack tooling, correlating indicators into attack architectures, and producing analysis that stands up to both client scrutiny and adversarial re-checking. The role demands the discipline to document every step, because your findings feed threat-intelligence products that clients act on.
You will hold standing responsibility for analysis quality and detection engineering — converting what you learn in the lab into rules and signatures that protect clients after the engagement ends. Underground-marketplace monitoring is a continuous duty: the threats being discussed today are the engagements of next quarter.
The role also carries institutional weight: mentoring the analysts and interns attached to your workstreams, and raising the cell'The reverse engineer review cycle documents teaching performance for Reverse Engineer seats — on the monthly agenda
