Technical Lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 professional with 7+ years of experience to lead and deliver D365 solutions across business functions. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing scalable solutions, managing technical development, integrations, production support, and working closely with business stakeholders and client teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Strong hands-on experience in D365 Finance & Operations development.

Strong knowledge of tables, table extensions, forms, form extensions, classes, enums, EDTs, queries, views, data entities, and security artifacts.

Develop complex business logic, validation rules, workflows, and batch processes.

Lead the design, development, customization, implementation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

Develop and customize D365 modules, workflows, business processes, forms, reports, and integrations based on business requirements.

Create and modify tables, forms, workflows, business rules, views, reports, and extensions.
-
Develop batch jobs, data entities, data migration processes, and integration interfaces.
-
Experience with Electronic Reporting (ER) is desirable.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide effective root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.

Support deployment, release management, testing, and post-production stabilization.

Mentor junior and mid-level D365 developers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents, and deployment/support documentation.
Integration & Data

Develop integrations using OData, REST APIs, custom services, and data entities.
- Experience with DMF (Data Management Framework) for data migration and integration.
Troubleshoot integration failures and perform root-cause analysis.

Technical Design
Design scalable and maintainable D365 F&O solutions.
Performance & Troubleshooting

Diagnose and resolve complex X++ and D365 F&O performance issues.
- Analyse SQL/database performance, long-running queries, batch jobs, and inefficient X++ code.
- Use appropriate D365 F&O debugging and monitoring tools.
Handle complex production incidents and provide detailed RCA and permanent fixes.

Development Lifecycle

Work with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, source control(GIT), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage development across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Support build, deployment, regression testing, and release activities.
Ensure customizations remain compatible with Microsoft platform updates.

Lead Responsibilities

Independently own complex D365 F&O development modules or workstreams.
- Coordinate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and client stakeholders.
- Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to replace customizations with standard D365 functionality.
- Take ownership of critical production issues and drive them through resolution.
- Provide technical estimates, task breakdowns, and development planning.
Required Technical Skills

7+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, depending on the required module.

Strong experience in D365 customization and development.

Strong knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

Strong Proficiency in X++ programming language.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based integrations.

Experience with SQL Server and database concepts.

Good understanding of security roles, data management, workflows, and D365 environments.

Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Azure

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
