Gupta Gaurav & Co (GGCO) is a Noida-based Chartered Accountancy firm focused on taxation and project financing, with a specialisation in the power sector. In addition to core accounting and tax services, the firm supports start-up fundraising and offers Virtual CFO services to clients across India.

Position: Senior Accountant/ Accounts Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent | 6 Days a Week

Work Location: Okhla Phase II, Delhi | Work from Office

Experience: 10–20 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant/ Accounts Manager who can independently manage day-to-day accounting operations, books of accounts, statutory compliance, billing, reconciliations and financial reporting. The role will also involve client coordination, handling accounting and compliance requirements, and reviewing the work of junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining books of accounts in Tally / Busy.
Handling day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, ledgers, receivables and payables.
Supervising and reviewing the work of junior accounting staff, where applicable.
Handling Income Tax compliance, including computation, TDS and related filings.
Preparing monthly financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.
Reviewing accounting records for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Managing billing, collections and outstanding receivables.
Performing bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
Supporting audits, assessments and other professional assignments.
Identifying accounting discrepancies and resolving them in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com/ M.Com) or equivalent.
10–20 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance.
Strong proficiency in Tally / Busy.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Advanced Excel and MS Word.
Experience in billing, vendor management and account reconciliations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to independently manage accounting and compliance assignments.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
